At Shepton Mallet Infants’ School we are delighted to be able to run a breakfast club for children in order for them to have a healthy and enjoyable start to the day. The club is open between 8am-8:45am every day and children from nursery to year 2 to can attend.
The club is very popular so we ask parents to register their children and state which days they will be attending. These can be changed from week to week as long as you let us know in advance either by speaking to a member of the nursery team or emailing sheptonnursery@educ.somerset.gov.uk.
There is a varied menu and there is always a good choice of food on offer such as:
- 3 different types of cereal
- Toast/bagels with a choice of spreads
- Crumpets
- Fruit
- Fresh milk/water
The cost of the Breakfast Club is £2.00 per day and we ask that you either pay in advance or on the day that your child attends. We also accept childcare vouchers.
After the children have eaten they can:
- Dance
- Play outdoors
- Draw or colour in
- Play table top games
